Who Was Abraham?

Who Was Abraham
In Islam, Ibrahim (Abraham) is a middle figure in the Qur’an. He is described as a head of humankind (Qur’an 2:124), a prophet, a friend of God (Qur’an 4:125) plus one who is amid the virtuous. He became the leader of the righteous in his time and it was through him that the Arabs and Hebrewpeople came.
Abraham birth name was Abram, is the eponym of the Abrahamic religions, along with which are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam; according to both the Hebrew Bible and the Qur’an, Abraham is the forefather of the Hebrews, Israelites, Jews, Ishmaelites, Edomites, Midianites and others. It is too said that the Patriarch is the ancestor of Muhammad, throughout Abraham’s firstborn son Ishmael. Abraham was a successor of Noah’s son Shem.
The Book of Genesis describes that records the life of Abraham presents his responsibility as one that could only be fulfilled through a monotheistic covenant recognized between him and Yahweh, the Hebrew God. The Qur’an has stories about Abraham and his offspring that are similar to the Bible’s.
